The pilot reactor with capacity of 1m³ made it possible to further upscale our processes and better simulate various synthetic routes followed in the industry. The system consists of the jacketed reactor, a refrigerating heater, a condenser and a chiller. The refrigerating heater allows the circulation of the heating/cooling media inside the jacket of the reactor for the effective temperature control of the reaction. The graphite condenser is connected on the top of the reactor and permits the condensation of the fumes that are produced during the reaction.
