MONOLITHOS participated in the PEACOC M30 Consortium Meeting held in Istanbul

Dynamic developments for MONOLITHOS! We were thrilled to participate in the recent PEACOC M30 Consortium Meeting held in Istanbul during the first week of October. This collaborative meeting, hosted by Ford Otosan and İSTAÇ Yaşam İçin Dönüştürür, united project partners to exchange insights, drive advancements, and strategize future steps.

🚀 About PEACOC Project: The PEACOC project, funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 Programme, is dedicated to overcoming obstacles hindering the large-scale recovery of precious metals. Our mission revolves around researching and showcasing pioneering, economically viable, and eco-friendly technologies at a pre-commercial stage. These technologies aim to recover gold, silver, and Platinum Group Metals from intricate waste mixtures.

🤝 Collaborative Progress: Our CEO, Dr. Iakovos Yakoumis, represented MONOLITHOS at this enthusiastic gathering. The meeting offered a comprehensive overview of progress within each work package (WP), addressing challenges and engaging in in-depth discussions on future actions and the most effective paths for exploitation. Conversations mainly focused on refining recycling technologies, especially for intricate waste streams like autocatalysts, PCBAs, and PV panel waste.

💡 Driving Change Together: Being part of the PEACOC consortium allows us to contribute to groundbreaking solutions for sustainable precious metal recovery. Our commitment to collaboration remains steadfast as we aim to catalyze positive change in the recycling industry.

👏 Special thanks to Ford Otosan and İSTAÇ Yaşam İçin Dönüştürür for hosting the meeting and creating a platform for valuable discussions and collaboration.
