The first course event in the ExpSkills-REM project project took place in Narva, Estonia, and the MONOLITHOS Team was there!

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭: ExpSkills is revolutionizing lifelong learning with its blended courses on Rare Earth (RE) Magnets and Motors, aimed at engineers, consultants, managers, technicians, and innovators. The courses emphasize recycling and motor applications Raw Materials, Technological Magnets, Circular Economy and Electromobility, in order to bolster Europe’s RE supply chain resilience.

👏 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐒’ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭: Dr. Anastasia Moschovi and Dr. Olga Thoda delivered an insightful course with lectures on “Rare-Earth Permanent Magnets Recycling” covering REEs main applications, pre-processing methods for REEs recovery and hydrometallurgical recovery of REEs from permanent magnets. Additionally, VASILIKI ALEXIOU provided lectures on “Life Cycle Assessment” focusing on LCA and Environmental Impacts of the production of REEs and Magnets. These sessions were delivered and attended by the NPM Narva staff, shedding light on innovative and sustainable approaches to recovering REEs from EoL permanent magnets. ♻️

🙏A heartfelt thank you to KTH Royal Institute of Technology for organizing this amazing course event and MagnequenchNeo Performance Materials for their hospitality and opportunity to visit their sintered magnet production facilities.

Stay tuned for the upcoming ExpSkills Course Event!
