Their work advanced groundbreaking research in 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐏𝐆𝐌𝐬) from #spent #automotive #catalyticconverters, reinforcing our commitment to the #circulareconomy. ♻️

🔬 Adjei Dickson (University of Oulu-Finland, Montanuniversität Leoben) dedicated 6 months to developing a cutting-edge method for 𝐏𝐆𝐌𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 using deep eutectic solvents, achieving outstanding recovery rates in a 𝐨𝐧𝐞-𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬.

🔧 Lucie Nélissen (GeMMe@ULiege team at the University of Liège) spent 1.5 months conducting successful 𝐏𝐆𝐌𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 tests using the cementation approach on 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, recovering PGMs in their metallic form.

This collaboration highlights MONOLITHOS’ commitment to offering hands-on training opportunities with industrial-grade facilities and equipment, empowering the next generation of scientists to lead in 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 and drive the 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 forward. 🌱
