MONOLITHOS owns exhaust gas analysers that can be used to determine the different gas concentrations contained in the exhaust gases of spark ignition as well as Compression Ignition engines of vehicles. In addition, the smokemeter can be used for the visualization of smoke in diesel engines. The analyser can operate both in static and dynamic mode, withdrawing gas from the exhaust pipe of the vehicle. The analyser allows the direct collection of the test results at the end of the analysis. Different probes are available depending on the engine type or type of measurement (exhaust gases/smoke for diesel engines). Moreover, an automobile emission flow analyser is available, allowing to measure the total emission gas volumetric flow of vehicle exhaust gases.
