The electrochemical test bench is used for corrosion testing of metallic components of electrochemical devices (electrolyzers and fuel cells). The experimental set up consists of a water jacket three-electrode corrosion cell, a potentiostant, a Pt plate counter electrode and a reversible hydrogen reference electrode. Corrosion resistance properties of metallic bipolar plates are investigated in O₂ saturated H₂SO₄ solution at 25-60°C to simulate the anode side of PEMWE environment under operating conditions. Corrosion parameters are determined from potentiodynamic polarization curves.
