To determine the particle size of a solid sample, granulometric analysis is performed using sieves in different pore sizes. The stainless sieves are available in different pore sizes: 2mm, 1mm, 315μm, 250μm and 125μm. If the sample has to be milled under a specific granulometry, the user will choose the suitable sieve with the nominal size for the confirmation test.
