GEORIS Project Description

GEORIS will transfer in the RIS region a novel geopolymerization technology that utilizes industrial waste to produce construction materials and a catalytic powder, all exhibiting significant financial, performance and environmental advantages (~25-30% reduction in costs & CO₂ emissions). GEORIS targets public authorities responsible for infrastructure development, construction companies, and industrial waste providers, comprising 11 partners from 4 countries (BE, GR, SI, RS).(Funded by the EIT RawMaterials under the Grant Agreement 21107).

MONOLITHOS participation role

MONOLITHOS will be the early adopter of the GEORIS technology, being responsible for the demonstration of the geopolymerization technology in the catalytic converter manufacturing, resulting initially to an upscaling project, and in the future to a promising technology for lower cost catalytic converters.
