A rotary vacuum evaporator is available in MONOLITHOS lab, which can be used in several processes such as evaporation, concentration, crystallization, drying, and separation of samples. The removal of solvents takes place through constant temperature heating and evaporation under vacuum. The rotational speed of the glass rotary bottle can be regulated while the flask is simultaneously heated uniformly by a controllable constant temperature water bath. The solvent vapor is cooled by a serpentine condenser which is used with a chiller in order to obtain high condensation efficiency, and is recycled into a collection bottle.
